Booking ahead helps you get the date you want: end-of-school-year dates fill up fast.
Credencial escolar vigente
All students and teachers must show a valid school ID to enter the Archaeological Zone free of charge.
Without ID: $150 per person. Admission is paid directly to INAH; it is not a Ruta Mágica charge.
What should each student bring?
Comfortable shoes, a cap, sunscreen, and water. The archaeological site is large and has little shade.
Can we adjust the schedule?
Yes. We plan the day around your departure and return times and adapt the activities. There's also a half-day program.
Where do we meet?
In the sample itinerary, arrival is at 9:00 a.m. at Gate 3 of the archaeological site. Look for the RUTA MÁGICA sign to find your guide. We'll coordinate the schedule and your chosen route with you.
