One package, no surprises
Everything the group lives in one day
No hidden costs and no add-ons to negotiate later. This is what every student gets.

Traditional dance
A live performance with certified dancers who explain the meaning of each movement and each ritual.

Bird show
Rescued and rehabilitated birds up close. A talk about conservation and animal welfare that sticks with them.

Guided visit
A SECTUR certified guide walks the archaeological zone with the group, adapting the explanation to their school level.

Two workshops of your choice
Hands-on activities where each student makes something with their own hands and takes it home.
Choose 2 of 4
The workshops
Every group picks the two that best fit their subject or grade. Tell us which ones when you book.

Ceramics
Traditional pottery with clay. Each student shapes their own piece and takes it with them.

Amaranth sweets
They prepare their own alegria. Amaranth was a sacred food in Mesoamerica.

Painting with natural dyes
They create art with cochineal and natural pigments, the same way the Teotihuacans did.

Chocolate making
From the cacao bean to chocolate, using ancestral techniques. Always the group favorite.

Nothing is set in stone
We build the package with you
Every group is different. A primary school does not need the same visit as a high school, and an agency bringing three buses does not need the same as one classroom. Tell us what you need and we adjust it.
- Change the workshops for others in the catalog
- Move the schedule to your departure and return times
- Pick the route that matches the subject you are teaching
- Adapt the menu for allergies or special diets
- Do a half day instead of a full day
- Coordinate several buses arriving at different times

General guidelines
Valid ID is required
Every student and teacher must show a valid school ID to enter the archaeological zone at no cost.
Without ID: $150 per person
Anyone who does not show a valid ID pays the archaeological zone entrance directly on site. That fee goes to INAH, not to Ruta Magica.
Flexible schedule
We build the day around your departure and return times. Tell us your schedule and we adapt the activities.
What students should bring
Comfortable shoes, a cap, sunscreen and water. The archaeological zone is large and has little shade.
Booking in advance is recommended: dates near the end of the school year fill up quickly.
What teachers say
Schools that already came
★★★★★
We brought our fifth graders and it was one of the best trips we have organized in years. They loved the cacao workshop and got home thrilled, telling their parents everything they did.

★★★★★
I came with my secondary students and it went beyond what I expected. The guide talked about astronomy, architecture and colors, all with examples the kids understood perfectly.
Profr. Ricardo NúñezHistory · Technical secondary, Puebla
★★★★★
The organization was what convinced me. Everything was ready when we arrived: the guide, the workshops, the food. I did not have to solve anything on the spot.
